I am not at all happy with the way that Dr. Adil performed in my case. He was quite comfortable in prescribing Risperidone and carbamazepine for a short period only. The reason given by Dr. Adil was 'to make me feel better'. This action by Dr. Adil was so over the top; Dr. Adil had not diagnosed me as a person having anything seriously wrong with them, certainly nothing psychotic! For somebody like me aged 68 and who has never had any mental health problems whatsoever. I think that Dr. Adil was taking advantage of me having had eye cancer some 7 years previously and then suspecting that I had to have frontal lobe problems. Unfortunately for Dr. Adil this was all theory on his part and I should never have been prescribed anti- psychotic drugs with harmful side effects. No mention of cognitive measures even for a short period was ever mentioned and I have to remain deeply hurt and suspicious when people like Dr. Adil behave in this way. I am pleased to confirm that I am currently drug free and managing things with my wife despite the ordeal of having to wait in A & E at my local hospital for a mental health assessment for some 36 hours - eventually getting seen at 02.30 Monday 17th July 2017, having had no sleep for some 47 hours! I told Dr. Adil at the time that he was dealing with a 'domestic' - a situation between me and my wife of over 40 years, however, Dr Adil preferred to listen to my wife only with no regard to listening to my side of events and I also told Dr. Adil at that time that I had no intention of taking the drugs that he and a colleague based at Langley Green Hospital had prescribed. Thank God I had the strength of mind in taking my own counsel! Perhaps, Dr. Adil will think more carefully in future before he comes to his diagnosis and possibly ruins somebody's life?

I was very happy with the consultation with Dr Jawad and the support that he provided in my report. Thank you Dr Jawad for your help.

I can't thank Dr Adil Jawad enough for my diagnosis. He was understanding, patience and always let me finish exactly what I needed to say. The relief I felt instantly was priceless. I have been struggling my whole life with unanswered questions and in an hour he was able to answer them all.
